Author Bio

Kurt Madden

Kurt Madden grew up in Ludington, Michigan, served in the military and graduated from Central Michigan University. He worked for 40 years in newspapers including 10 years as a community editor for the Lansing State Journal. He won several Michigan journalism awards for his writing and editorial work. He and his wife Janet are the proud parents of four children, Erin, Katie, Connor, and a son lost too soon, Ryan. They are retired and live in historic Marshall, Michigan, where they reside with their dog Franky and cat Mooch.
